Focus and Scope
Jurnal Biomedika dan Kesehatan is an official publication of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti. Jurnal Biomedika dan Kesehatan is a third-monthly medical journal that publishes new research findings on a wide variety of topics of importance to biomedical science and clinical practice. Jurnal Biomedika dan Kesehatan online contains both the current issue and an online archive that can be accessed through browsing, advanced searching, or collections by disease or topic.

Peer Review Process
Every submitted article will be independently reviewed by at least one peer-reviewed and additional reviewers where it deems necessary. The review process applies the Double-Blind method. The decision for publication or rejection will be decided by the editor upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decisions based on reviewers’ recommendations:
1. Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
2. Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
3. Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
4. Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal
All submitted manuscripts are screened with plagiarism software iThenticate or Turnitin during the evaluation process.
Open Access Policy
Jurnal Biomedika dan Kesehatan provides immediate Open Access under a Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 license to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Authors retain full copyright. For more information see the copyright section below.
Articles are published immediately upon the final corrections of the master proof having been made. All articles are assigned a DOI number (Digital Object Identifier).
