Perbandingan Disfungsi Sexual pada Perempuan yang menggunakan Kontrasepsi Oral dan Kontrasepsi Suntik
Background: Sexual dysfunction is a problem that occurs in the sexual response cycle individuals can do to get satisfaction in the activity section. One of the factors that cause sexual disfunction is side effects after using hormonal contraceptive. The goal of this study was to describe sexual disfunction between oral contraception users and injection contraception.
Methods: This study was a cross sectional study at Puskesmas Kembangan West Jakarta from April to June 2019. 132 women compose of 66 women using oral contraception and 66 women using injection contraception aged between 15- 49 years old, fullfill the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study were recruited as a subject. This study uses Women's Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire to know sexual disfunction at subject. Statistical analysis using Chi-Square test with p value <0.05 as significantly different.
Results: The mean age of subjects using oral contraception were 32.10 ± 6.2 years old and injection contraception 31.56 ± 6.4 years old. Most of the subjects have experienced sexual dysfunction as many as 73 people (55.3%). Subject using injection contraception have more sexsual disfunction than using oral contraception with p value = 0,000.
Conclusion: There are significant differences between women using oral contraception and injection contraception
